Mechanical Engineering Intern

About the Role

Coffman Engineers' Atlanta office is seeking a dynamic and innovative Mechanical Engineering Intern for the summer months of 2027. This is a great opportunity to learn about design projects involving process piping, HVAC systems, and plumbing systems in a professional fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Enrolled as a full-time student in an engineering program at a nationally recognized, accredited college
• Three or more years of required courses completed towards a mechanical engineering degree
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with AutoCAD and/or REVIT preferred
• Previous construction and/or customer service experience preferred
• ANSEP students strongly encouraged to apply
• Ability to work up to 30-40 hours during the school break. Flexibility for school schedule/demands will be provided during the semester
• This is not a remote position. This role is based in Duluth, GA and requires in-person attendance. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office
• This position is not eligible for sponsorship
