Apply your classroom-learned skills to a program supporting the defense of our country. GDMS has openings for Mechanical Engineering Co-Ops from August to December 2026 to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects that support some of our nation’s fundamental defense services.
• Collaborate with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.
• Work with collaborative teams on various technical projects associated with our core mission.

Requirements

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology.
• Be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Mechanical, Systems Engineering discipline with a preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher.
• Have a Department of Defense secret security clearance within a reasonable period of time.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.

Pay

Target salary range: USD $26.00/Hr. - USD $29.00/Hr.

Schedule

This position is 100% on-site and you will be part of the McLeansville, NC facility.
