Responsibilities

  • Own platform design and integration: Lead the Titan HP system-level test platform, integrating precision subsystems (pneumatics, robotics/automation, fluid cooling, rack infrastructure).
  • Drive thermal architecture: Model and optimize liquid/air cooling (ANSYS Fluent, Icepak; SolidWorks Flow Simulation/Flowtherm) for advanced packages (CPU, GPU, AI ASICs, CPO) and develop verification/validation/correlation strategies.
  • Run lab programs end-to-end: Plan tests, set up instrumentation, analyze data, and translate simulation results into experimental proof.
  • Accelerate prototyping and manufacturing: Leverage quick-turn methods (3D printing, internal shop, vendors) and coordinate supply chain for novel processes (copper 3D printing, laser cutting/ablation, ceramics, brazing, advanced bonding). Stay current via internal conferences and industry forums.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (M.S. preferred) and 2+ years in machine design or mechanical engineering.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks with PDM/MRP; strong ANSI Y14.5 and GD&T.
  • Experience in FEA, tolerance stack-up, and analytical validation.
  • Hands-on design and integration of thermal, fluid, and pneumatic systems; expertise with ANSYS Fluent/Icepak and server air-cooling strategies.
  • Familiarity with LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, and DAQ; exposure to Minitab, Python, or R.
  • Self-driven, systems thinker with clear CAD communication and strong cross-functional collaboration.
