Mechanical Engineer (NY)
About the role
We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer in Syracuse, NY who is excited about working on advanced facilities projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. Join us and you'll have the chance to work on projects at some of the world's most state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. You'll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You will also provide on-site assistance during construction, startup, and commissioning, coordinating work activities with other design and engineering professionals and the discipline lead.
Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will successfully deliver on the design, development, application, evaluation, recommendation, and specification of engineered systems and products for building HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems and components. With focus on both services during construction (SDC), and design, you will be well positioned to bring your full skillset to bear. Regular site visits coupled with engineering and design engagement will provide you with plenty of opportunity to thrive in this dynamic high energy role. During construction, you will be afforded the ability to flex and adjust your site presence throughout as necessary to provide support to both you and the project.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks
- Gain familiarity with client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule
- Provide on-site assistance during construction, startup, and commissioning
- Coordinate work activities with other design and engineering professionals and the discipline lead
- Deliver on the design, development, application, evaluation, recommendation, and specification of engineered systems and products for building HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems and components
- Perform services during construction (SDC) and design engagement
- Conduct regular site visits with flexibility to adjust site presence as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration
- At least 7 years of practical application of mechanical engineering, including HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, and related mechanical building systems
- At least 2 years of experience in semiconductor
- Experience with Revit
- Ability to work onsite in Syracuse, NY

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $102,900.00 to $141,500.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
