About the role

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is hiring multiple Mechanical Engineers to support operations at our Alexandria, VA location.

As a Mechanical Engineer you will contribute to the design, development and engineering of mechanical systems for complex facilities across domestic and international projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development and engineering of mechanical systems for complex facilities across domestic and international projects.
• Implement Building Automation and System.
• Work with other development contractors and trades to include non-traditional applications.

Requirements

• Lead Mechanical Engineer (Engineer Mechanical 5): 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field.
• Senior Mechanical Engineer (Engineer Mechanical 3): 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
• Mechanical Engineer (Engineer Mechanical 2): 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; or 0 years experience with Masters in related field.

Qualifications

• All levels must possess an active TS/SCI clearance.
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
• Experience utilizing 3-dimensional drafting tools such as CAD, Solidworks, and Revit.
• Experience working with other development contractors and trades to include non-traditional applications.

Skills

• Professional Engineering license (PE) preferred.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams preferred.
• Experience with mechanical industry best practices, regulations and safety standards preferred.

Pay

Salary ranges for Lead Mechanical Engineer (Engineer Mechanical 5): $143,140 - $224,000, Senior Mechanical Engineer (Engineer Mechanical 3): $102,724 - $161,423, and Mechanical Engineer (Engineer Mechanical 2): $84,285 - $133,000.
