About the role

We are seeking a spring intern to begin working full-time onsite from January 2027 to July 2027 in Greenville, TX. This is a co-op term running from January 2027 to July 2027.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support for both new product development activities as well as factory support of existing products
• Work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation
• Generate and/or process engineering change orders (ECO’s) as required

Requirements

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering or related field
• Must be able to apply the principles of Structural Mechanics to predict internal stresses and structural instabilities
• Familiarity with finite element methods and fatigue

Preferred Additional Skills

• CAD or analysis (FEA) tools exposure
• Experience in mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems, structures and mechanisms

Schedule

9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off.
