Mechanical Engineer II

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to create and improve products such as winches, hoists, gear drives, and electronic systems for various industrial applications.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical, electromechanical, and hydraulic systems using 3-D CAD models and drawings
• Ensure designs comply with engineering principles, standards, and customer requirements
• Analyze test data to evaluate design performance under different operating conditions
• Conduct and validate testing, review drawings, and approve designs or ECOs under supervision
• Follow ISO procedures to prevent problems, document quality issues, and contribute to continuous improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Proficiency in mechanical systems, design analysis, 3-D CAD, and integrating electronics/software
• Ability to travel as needed

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of mobile equipment, cranes, hydraulics, and project management
• Experience with thermodynamics and designing experiments
