Responsibilities

• Design and analyze components and assemblies, ensuring structural integrity.
• Collaborate with RF Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering to deliver innovative and manufacturable products to internal and external customers.
• Communicate technical information internally with various departments.
• Design hardware based on customer specifications using SolidWorks.
• Perform static and dynamic analyses (modal, static, vibration) on designed hardware based on customer specifications using NEi Nastran and Femap.
• Create and maintain proper documentation associated with the design and analysis of the hardware.
• Support production and test of the hardware.
• Review and approve drawings using GD&T.
• Adequately adhere to government regulations, industry standards, and internal guidelines to produce quality hardware in a quality setting.
• Participate in continuing process improvement.
• Demonstrate company core values.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• SolidWorks or similar CAD experience desired.
• EPDM experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems is desired.
