Responsibilities
- Design and analyze components and assemblies, ensuring structural integrity.
- Collaborate with RF Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering to deliver innovative and manufacturable products to internal and external customers.
- Communicate technical information internally with various departments.
- Design hardware based on customer specifications using SolidWorks.
- Perform static and dynamic analyses (modal, static, vibration) on designed hardware based on customer specifications using NEi Nastran and Femap.
- Create and maintain proper documentation associated with the design and analysis of the hardware.
- Support production and test of the hardware.
- Review and approve drawings using GD&T.
- Adequately adhere to government regulations, industry standards, and internal guidelines to produce quality hardware in a quality setting.
- Participate in continuing process improvement.
- Demonstrate company core values.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- SolidWorks or similar CAD experience desired.
- EPDM experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems is desired.
