What You'll Do
- Develop new concepts by applying design standards, details, and geometry to ideas.
- Create conceptual models, assemblies, and drawings from engineering sketches or layouts, enhancing concepts with personal ideas.
- Analyze existing product lines for functionality to identify improvements across the product line.
- Interpret designs, perform engineering calculations, review specifications, and expedite engineering change requests.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Sales, and Service teams to enhance manufacturability and serviceability of equipment, and address arising issues.

What You’ll Need
- A desire to learn new things, apply knowledge, and share opinions to improve products or processes.
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Science, Engineering Physics, BioScience, or a related field, or two years of experience in a mechanical-related field or industry (e.g., pumps, grinders, generators, etc.).
- Good drawing and detailing capabilities with an understanding of assembly stackup and tolerances.
- Good machine design skills.
- A clear understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
- Experience with 3-D CAD software.
- Proficiency in PC word processing and spreadsheet programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
