Responsibilities

• Support engineering projects by applying fundamental principles, standard procedures, and basic technical skills
• Perform routine technical tasks with guidance, using prescribed methods and CAD tools
• Develop an understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities
• Review the technical output of junior team members as directed
• Collaborate with peers, staff, contractors, and the public to contribute to project success
• Assist with client, customer, or official communications related to specific assignments or meetings
• Influence peers through team interactions and contribute to group projects

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as a mechanical engineer
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, NX, AutoCAD)
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
• Associate’s degree (2-year) from an accredited program (ABET/EAC) with relevant experience may be considered
• Primarily academic knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and procedures
