About the role
This Mechanical Engineer I will assist in the design, layout and testing of all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, machinery or systems. The person in this position may also assign work to the technical drafting staff.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the performance of product development activities, including drawing board layout.
- Aid in the interpretation and implementation of customer specifications and documentation requirements.
- Aid in the application of engineering principles to conduct routine analyses and/or tests related to the development of new designs, methods, materials or processes.
- Aid in conducting engineering studies.
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
- Familiarity with analytical and CAD software.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles for producing precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Pay
The starting salary range for this role and market is between $66,000 - $87,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
