Responsibilities

• Provides engineering support for prototype, design, production, and life cycle sustainment of various technical and DoD level projects.
• Responsible for design and analysis of mechanical and electrical systems, equipment, and DoD level technical data packages.
• Conducts feasibility studies and tests on new and modified designs.
• Serves as a lead in preparing detailed design, design testing, and prototype fabrication.
• Determines methods and procedures for new assignments and contributes to the development of organizational goals and objectives.
• Routinely interacts with external customers and functional peers.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution is required.
• Experience: 0-3 years of relevant technical field experience.
• Clearance: Must have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Desired experience utilizing Solidworks 3D modeling and Finite Element Analysis.
• Multi-tasking and handling multiple complex and diverse tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail.
• Prior military experience a plus.
