Mechanical Engineer, Electro-Mechanical (Starlink)
Responsibilities
- Elicit urgent troubleshooting of hardware issues.
- Conduct hands-on testing to inform development or root cause investigations.
- Implement design or manufacturing upgrades to improve rate and reliability.
- Collaborate with design teams to provide feedback on manufacturability, cost, and reliability.
- Perform environmental and performance testing on hardware to validate analysis and demonstrate compliance to design criteria.
- Show extreme ownership of product outcomes at every stage of development and production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
- 1+ years of experience designing, building, testing, or troubleshooting hardware via professional work experience, project/research-based student experience, or a combination of both.
Preferred Skills And Experience
- Demonstrated full-cycle ownership of a hardware project from concept to implementation.
- Understand fundamental principals in materials science and solid mechanics.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
Additional Requirements
- Willing to work extended hours and/or weekends for mission critical deadlines.
Pay
Pay Range Level 1: $100,000.00 - $117,500.00
Level 2: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00
