About the role
This Mechanical Engineer will develop mechanical designs in support of various Buildings projects, including:
- Building HVAC system(s)
- Building plumbing system(s)
- Building fire protection system(s)
- Building whole building energy modeling
- Building sustainability requirements reporting
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include:
- Coordination with other support disciplines and regional offices
- Assisting project managers in project management
- Following quality assurance and quality control plans
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering with a mechanical focus from an ABET accredited university or college
- Minimum of 3 years of building design and construction industry experience
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering principals related to building mechanical designs
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with Autodesk Revit
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Past the Fundamentals of Engineering exam
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD
- Experience with Carrier HAP or similar HVAC load analysis program
- Experience with AIA MasterSpec
