About the Role
The 88th Civil Engineering Group (88 CEG) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH, provides high-quality living and working environments to support missions. They manage all facility and infrastructure programs for the largest Air Force installation in the U.S., including operations, maintenance, and repair of facilities, infrastructure, and grounds; structural and aircraft fire protection; environmental management; housing management; emergency management; and explosive ordnance disposal.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance and technical support in identifying, developing, and preparing FSRM, NAF, and MILCON projects.
- Coordinate with customers and government personnel to define project requirements and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Draft Performance Work Statements (PWS), Statements of Work (SOW), programming documents (DD 1391s), and cost estimates.
- Independently review facility project design submittals, standard design templates, charrette reports, and facility design standards/tools.
- Perform comprehensive technical compliance verification of designs against applicable standards and specifications.
- Assist in developing project management tools such as project management plans, Construction Management Documents, and enterprise business system data entries.
- Aid in project management, oversight, technical advice, and quality assurance services.
- Assist government personnel in QA/QC oversight of project field activities and ensure compliance with procedures.
- Participate in planning/design charrettes, review/oversight of contractor work, and assist in project development meetings.
- Develop briefings in support of project and meeting requirements.
- Prepare, develop, or review design calculations, cost estimates, schedules, technical drawings, and specifications for mechanical systems in multi-story buildings, large steam plants, hospitals, hangars, flight simulators, and similar structures.
Requirements
- Clearance: Secret
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field
- Experience: At least 3 years in the respective technical/professional discipline, with 3 of those in the DoD; or 7 years of directly related experience with proper certifications.
- Experience: Familiarity with cost estimates, schedules, technical drawings, and specifications related to mechanical systems in multi-story buildings, large steam plants, hospitals, hangars, flight simulators, and similar structures.

Benefits
Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $95,000.00 annually. Benefits include:
