Position Summary

The primary focus of the Engineer is preparing equipment lay‑outs, general arrangement drawings, flow diagrams and detailed fabrication and assembly drawings. Our Engineers work closely with our Lead Engineers and Project Engineers to satisfy customer requirements and resolve design problems from the initial design to the final release of drawing to the shop floor.

General Responsibilities

• Calculate flows, loadings, dimensions and weights as determined or instructed.
• Use manufacturer’s literature, select equipment components based on workable design, and consult other engineering data.
• Compare costs versus designs to determine the most cost‑effective way to manufacture the equipment.
• Create a bill of materials (BOM) to be used for purchasing, fabrication and shipping.

Requirements

• Related bachelor’s degree or technical degree with equivalent years of experience.
• Extremely proficient in AutoCAD 2D.
• Professional demeanor with positive interactions with co‑workers and customers; upbeat, can‑do attitude.
