About the Role

A Mechanical Engineer focused on developing polymer fluid handling components such as valves, tubing, and fittings in a high-tech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discussions, analyze data, and make informed decisions to ensure product functionality and reliability.
  • Design, develop, and evaluate new and existing products, ensuring manufacturability and risk mitigation.
  • Support testing, qualification, and compliance activities, including prototype builds and technical documentation.
  • Manage or assist in technology development and new product introductions, overseeing phase-gate processes and project documentation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, vendors, and customers for project success.
  • Perform root cause analysis for quality issues and troubleshoot design or assembly problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with 2+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in mechanical design, FEA, thermal/fluid dynamics, and materials.
  • Experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Inventor, ProE), manufacturing processes, and simulation tools (ANSYS, MATLAB).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and project management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with machine shop tools and knowledge of materials and finishing processes.
