About the role
You will serve as a Mechanical Engineer, focusing on one of the following areas: EMALS/Steam Catapult, AAG/MK7, or ETL Test Engineer positions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, directives, and schedules for EMALS, Steam Catapult, AAG, and MK7 systems.
- Provide detailed technical assessments and recommendations to the PMT and ALRE Department leadership.
- Lead test engineering efforts for AAG and MK7 systems across multiple test sites (e.g., JCTS, RALS) and ship hulls.
- Write technical reports to support test and evaluation efforts for NAWCAD equipment under test.
- Communicate and coordinate with outside programs and/or agencies to ensure ETL test requirements are fully verified prior to system fielding.
Pay
