Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical calculations and develop work packages and engineering documents.
- Interpret and apply all applicable federal, state and/or local codes.
- Execute thorough technical reviews of design documentation and provide actionable feedback.
- Analyze technical issues within the Mechanical Engineering discipline, aided and supported by the other specialist disciplines.
- Conduct field investigations to determine existing conditions.
- Travel to field for project scoping, verification, construction support, and meeting with clients.
- Report to Mechanical Discipline Lead on progress of work and ensure coordination between the engineering, design, and project management teams.
- Mentor, direct work, and supervise junior team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Engineer-in-Training certificate required.
- Professional Engineering License in the state of Ohio preferred.
- 4-8 years of progressive professional mechanical engineering.
- LEED certification a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Industrial HVAC and Plumbing design for new construction and renovation of buildings.
- AutoCAD and REVIT experience preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license with demonstrated safe driving practices.
