We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Albany, NY to tackle complex challenges and create solutions that keep our clients’ businesses running at their best. You will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks while gaining familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You’ll provide on-site assistance during startup, coordinating work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.

Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will deliver on the design, development, application, evaluation, recommendation, and specification of engineered systems and products for building HVAC, cleanrooms, chilled and heating water, and process exhaust. Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality mechanical engineering tasks while adhering to schedule and technical standards.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Provide on-site assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with team members and discipline leads.
  • Design, develop, evaluate, and specify engineered systems for building HVAC, cleanrooms, chilled and heating water, and process exhaust.
  • Collaborate effectively in multi-disciplinary teams from preliminary design through site construction.
  • Work onsite (hybrid) two days per week in Pittsburgh, PA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of practical application of mechanical engineering design in building systems, such as HVAC, chilled and heating water systems, plumbing, and construction.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
  • Working knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD software, with prior experience in Navisworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Passion for buildings and construction.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $69,500.00 to $95,500.00. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

Hybrid work policy requiring onsite presence two days per week in Pittsburgh, PA.
