Mechanical Engineer

About the role

CMTA is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support our expansion in The Woodlands, TX. This role involves providing mechanical design services, attending client meetings, and collaborating with the mechanical team to ensure timely project completion.

Responsibilities

• Complete load calculations and select appropriate equipment for projects
• Attend and participate in construction meetings to observe and report technical findings
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects while adhering to deadlines
• Provide clear and concise solutions to mechanical design challenges
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand and meet their expectations
• Build and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• 5-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering
• EIT or PE license
• Proven ability to maintain professionalism and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working collaboratively on teams and listening attentively
• Desire to produce high-quality work and advance in the engineering field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Excellent integrity and ethical standards
• Ability to work outside standard business hours as needed
