Responsibilities
- Develop sections and elevations of complex ductwork and piping areas
- Respond to RFI’s for the project, and accurately review submittals
- Functional working knowledge of mechanical systems, as well as systems design & construction processes
- The ability to work directly with Architects/Owners/Construction Manager Representatives in a hands-on training role for the functional understanding of systems
- Understand work planning and manage the design process to the available hours in the work plan
- Understand the proper scope of SD, DD, CD level documents and deliver appropriate documentation
- Modify sequences of operations for AHU’s, CHW and HW systems
- Understand both constant and variable flow systems, and properly applies equipment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with a focus on Healthcare projects
- Excellent Organizational and Communication skills
- Proactive and Collaborative team member
- EIT (Engineer in Training) License is a plus
