Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and enhance mechanical models for new and existing products.
- Conduct thorough failure analysis and root cause investigations on mechanical components and assemblies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
- Document findings, prepare technical reports, and communicate solutions to stakeholders.
- Support prototype builds, verification/validation testing, and governance certification efforts.
- Support and analyze photometric data; provide guidance to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical modeling and failure/root cause analysis.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and problem-solving methodologies.
- Bonus: Knowledge of photometric analysis for lighting or optical systems.
- Bonus: Experience with material selection and analysis for mechanical applications.
- Bonus: Experience working with electrical components and their integration into mechanical designs.
Qualifications
- Experience in materials, photometric analysis, thermal analysis, or electromechanical component integration is valued.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
