Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and enhance mechanical models for new and existing products.
• Conduct thorough failure analysis and root cause investigations on mechanical components and assemblies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
• Document findings, prepare technical reports, and communicate solutions to stakeholders.
• Support prototype builds, verification/validation testing, and governance certification efforts.
• Support and analyze photometric data; provide guidance to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical modeling and failure/root cause analysis.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and problem-solving methodologies.
• Bonus: Knowledge of photometric analysis for lighting or optical systems.
• Bonus: Experience with material selection and analysis for mechanical applications.
• Bonus: Experience working with electrical components and their integration into mechanical designs.

Qualifications

• Experience in materials, photometric analysis, thermal analysis, or electromechanical component integration is valued.
