Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team, working directly onsite at the client site in Indian Head, MD. The role involves reviewing existing buildings, designing RFPs, and performing technical analysis for a large government project. You will report to both ERG and the client, with a work schedule of four days onsite and one day working from home.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical reviews of mechanical design documents.
• Design facilities and buildings according to project specifications.
• Collaborate with various teams to discuss and refine designs.
• Conduct field and site visits to assess project progress and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong background in HVAC and mechanical design.
• Project management skills.
• Ability to interact with clients and discuss HVAC design.

Qualifications

• EIT/PE certification is a plus.
• Experience with HVAC system design and system selection.

Schedule

Flexible work schedules starting between 6am-8am. This is a fully onsite position in Chantilly, VA, with four days onsite and one day working from home.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year.
