Opportunity Overview

Handshake is seeking skilled SolveSpace users to support AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. This is not a traditional job. You'll leverage your hands-on experience with geometric constraint modeling, mechanism design, or parametric 3D CAD to evaluate AI-generated content and provide feedback that enhances AI's understanding of mechanical design tasks and engineering workflows. This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity.

Who This Is For

  • Experienced SolveSpace users who have worked in or around roles such as Mechanical Engineer, Mechanism Design Engineer, Robotics Engineer, R&D Engineer, Kinematics Researcher, or CAD Designer.
  • People with at least 1 year of hands-on experience with SolveSpace, either through professional work or freelance projects.
  • Individuals with a strong working knowledge of geometric constraint solving, mechanism design, and parametric modeling concepts.
  • Those with excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starters capable of working independently and following written guidelines.
