About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and testing mechanical systems and components.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze mechanical systems and components
- Conduct tests and experiments to evaluate system performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions
- Document design processes and results
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- US Citizenship is required due to government contract requirements
- Clearances may be required based on the project scope
Skills
- Proficiency in mechanical engineering principles
- Knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Experience with mechanical design tools and software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
