About the Role

As a Mech/Elec Technician, you will install, operate, test, and maintain manufacturing equipment, including automated and robotic parts, integral to our solid rocket motor propellant production facilities. You will also own mechanical assembly, repair, and maintenance required for site operations and program support. Success in this role means identifying blockers, guiding processes to address anomalies and performance shortfalls, and meeting schedule goals for installation, commissioning, and deployment of components, sub-assemblies, and top-level facilities.

To thrive in this role, you must have demonstrated success in mechanical/electrical hardware installation, repair, and selection and/or electrical/instrumentation/controls/data expertise. An aptitude for hands-on assembly and integration is required and is best shown by your work history and passions when off the clock.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, test, and maintain manufacturing equipment, including automated and robotic systems.
• Perform mechanical assembly, repair, and maintenance for site operations and program support.
• Identify blockers and guide processes to address anomalies and performance shortfalls.
• Meet schedule goals for installation, commissioning, and deployment of components, sub-assemblies, and facilities.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience with installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical/controls, and fluidic systems/facilities.
• Experience servicing pumps, mixers, heat exchangers, ovens, precision flow meters, instrumentation, data acquisition, power supplies, and PLC panels.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams of ~5 engineers/technicians.
• Demonstrated electro/mechanical hands-on dis-assembly/assembly and troubleshooting aptitude.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Must be a US Person as defined by 120.62 of the ITAR.
