Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, seeks an Engineering Co-op to work alongside experienced professionals on a range of projects. The role offers a blend of field and office work, including construction inspections, resolving issues, and assisting with project management.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in construction job progress meetings and inspections
• Resolving construction, operating, and maintenance issues at various facilities
• Performing design calculations
• Conducting engineering consultant request for proposal processes and construction contractor bid processes
• Managing corrective and preventative maintenance work orders on the Maintenance Connection (MC) program
• Performing data entry into the company’s MC program
• Traveling to various production facilities to obtain specifications for equipment
• Engaging in general administrative duties and record keeping

Qualifications

• Possess valid driver's license
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Knowledge of the five (5) county area surrounding Philadelphia
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in speech and writing
• Knowledge of electrical or mechanical engineering and calculations
• Willingness to work in a drinking water plant and construction environment
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus
