Mechanical Drafter/Designer

About the role

The Mechanical Drafter/Designer is responsible for creating detailed drawings and diagrams that convey design concepts and specifications for mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate technical drawings and diagrams using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with engineers and other designers to ensure designs meet project requirements and specifications.
• Review and analyze existing drawings and documents to identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical drafting/design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
• Experience with drafting and design standards and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
