Mechanical Drafter

About the role

We are seeking a detail-driven technical professional to support custom engineering work that helps translate customer requirements into practical mechanical solutions. Our team is looking for someone who can collaborate closely with engineers and suppliers to develop accurate documentation, detailed designs, and well-structured bills of materials for complex turnkey projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and suppliers to develop accurate documentation, detailed designs, and well-structured bills of materials for complex turnkey projects.
• Proficient with 3 to 5 years of experience in CREO, with in-depth knowledge of 2D and 3D design tools including CREO, Pro/E, and SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), detailed drawing development, and design documentation.
• Successful history of working with external suppliers, plus excellent oral and written communication skills.

Requirements

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in a mechanical drafting role.

Qualifications

• Highly proficient with 3 to 5 years of experience in CREO, with in-depth knowledge of 2D and 3D design tools including CREO, Pro/E, and SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), detailed drawing development, and design documentation.
