Mechanical Drafter - AI Trainer
Opportunity Overview
Handshake is seeking skilled LibreCAD and QCAD CE users to support AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. This is not a traditional job. You'll leverage your experience with 2D technical drafting, industrial schematics, or manufacturing blueprints to evaluate AI-generated content and provide feedback that enhances AI's understanding of technical drafting tasks and manufacturing workflows.
Who This Is For
This role is suitable for experienced LibreCAD or QCAD CE users with backgrounds in roles such as Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Drafter, CNC Programmer, Industrial Designer, Technical Illustrator, or CAD Drafter. Candidates should have at least 1 year of hands-on experience with these tools and a strong grasp of 2D technical drafting, mechanical schematics, and manufacturing workflows.
What You'll Do
- Create tool-related questions using LibreCAD or QCAD CE
- Review AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance to real-world technical drafting and manufacturing workflows
Qualifications
- No prior AI or technical experience required
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with LibreCAD or QCAD CE
- A working knowledge of 2D technical drafting concepts, mechanical schematics, and manufacturing workflows
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and follow written guidelines
