Duties And Responsibilities

• Create Cycle Time Charts (Machine Timing)
• Create CLS (Controls Layout Sheet)
• Operate Operator Timing - STDS (GM Standard Time Data System)
• Create SPD (GM) Sequence Deliverables
• Program Operator Ergonomic Studies
• Create Walk Paths (On a DWF File)
• Create Xrwd (Excel Request Wiring Diagram) / Sequence of Operation / TCD
• Create Part Outlines
• Use eM-Planner (nice to have)

• Prepare General Specifications
• Support, Coordinate, and Execute All Quality Initiatives
• Meet All Customer Requirements, Specifications, and Requests
• Suggest and Support All Continuous Improvement Efforts

• Light or Heavy Automotive Body in White (BIW) Engineering Experience
• Strong Organizational and Planning Skills
• Closed Attention to Minor Details
• Strong Written and Face-to-Face Communication Skills in Large and Small Teams
• Leadership and Site Support Experience
• Identifies and Analyzes Information to Make Decisions and Solve Problems
• Proficient in NX (GM / Siemens) - Navigation and Observation
• AutoCAD - Skills - Navigation and Observation
• Microsoft (Excel)
• Customer Standard Deliverables (GM - STDS, WESS, SPD, XRWD)

Skills

• Ability to Work Independently and Within Teams
• Ability to Travel Internationally for Technical Support (5-15%)

Education

• Possible 2+ Years Mechanical Design and Engineering Experience or Associates Degree in Mechanical Technology or Equivalent Experience
• Minimum Degree Required: Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO)
