YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 🎯 Prepare all necessary documents to support the interior and structural modification of the aircraft such as detail, assembly and installation drawings, specification documents and substantiation reportsCoordinate with outside suppliers, internal departments and regulatory agencies regarding the design, installation, integration, and certification of new interior components to support floorplan modificationsResearch specification for component selection. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure specifications are metSupport statement of work creation and bids for new customer requestsAssist service center personnel in investigating, troubleshooting, and resolution of build/modification and test issues and create deviation drawings as requiredWork in a team environment Requirements YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS 💎 You will hold a Bachelor of Science Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent with five (5) years relevant experience or will have a minimum of ten (10) years of practical mechanical design experience in aviationYou are proficient creating mechanical drawings using AutoCad or CATIA (preferred)You will have a working knowledge of applicable regulatory certification rules (FAA, EASA, TCCA)You will be proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)You must be a self-starter and able to handle multiple initiatives effectivelyYou must exhibit excellent written and interpersonal communication skillsYou should be an organized individual, able to work effectively with a variety of cross-functional individuals, departments and organizations with a general good attitude and disposition SOGECLAIR promotes diversity and inclusion as part of essential elements of its performance and is committed to recruiting without discrimination.
