Mechanical Designer

Job Title: Mechanical Designer Job Description We are seeking a Mechanical Designer to support a growing engineering and design team in the York, PA area. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical design/drafting experience who enjoys turning engineering concepts into accurate, production-ready drawings and designs. The Mechanical Designer will work closely with engineers, drafters, checkers, and other technical team members to develop and update mechanical drawings while supporting projects from initial design through completion. Responsibilities Create and revise detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, and designs using CAD softwareDevelop drawings from engineering concepts, sketches, specifications, and existing designsProduce accurate part, assembly, and fabrication drawingsIncorporate engineering changes and drawing revisionsReview designs for dimensional accuracy, manufacturability, and completenessMaintain drawing documentation and revision controlCollaborate with engineers and other designers to resolve design challengesSupport multiple projects while meeting established deadlines and quality expectations Qualifications Associate's degree, technical diploma, or equivalent professional experience in Mechanical Design, Drafting, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related disciplinePrevious mechanical CAD/design or drafting experienceAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentationUnderstanding of mechanical components, assemblies, dimensions, and tolerancesStrong attention to detailAbility to communicate and collaborate effectively with engineering and technical teams Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Dallastown, PA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
