What You Will Do Execute 3D parametric models, modifications, packaging studies, and 2D production drawings.Defines overall part design, mechanical concepts, and primary component sizingApply plastic molding and Valeo design rules (draft angles, wall thickness, parting lines) provided by checklists/guidelinesNegotiate tooling feasibility with tooling engineers and suppliers; promotes standardizationsRun clearance/interference checks and standard section cutsOwn structural/thermal simulations (FEA), worst-case tolerance stacks, and design sign-offsManage file check-in/check-out, PDM/PLM lifecycle states, and BOM accuracyValidate release readiness, baseline milestones, and customer engineering change requests (ECR) What You Should Have Associate's Degree in a technical field is preferred, but experience in lieu of education will be consideredCatia design experience preferred, but other design software experience will be considered Join us!
