About the role

The College of Engineering and Technology at GCU seeks adjunct faculty members to teach part-time, in-person courses at the Phoenix campus. Courses are scheduled for the Fall 2026 semester.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

Requirements

• Preferred: Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering
• Minimum: Master's in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering

• 18 graduate credit hours in the areas of Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering
