Mechanical Design Engineer - Custom Machine Shop

About the role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll provide accurate designs and analysis while modeling accountability, resourcefulness, and humility. Your work will directly support the success of our customers and our company in a fast-paced, growing manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sample parts and machinery
• Interpret technical design information
• Design parts and mechanical assemblies according to customer requirements
• Create CAD models, engineering drawings, and inspection plans for manufacturing
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and team members

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering gained from a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
• Ability to learn quickly and excel at problem-solving
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Relevant experience in manufacturing, inspection, machine design, controls systems, or project management
