We are seeking a qualified technical leader to oversee a Powersports design function, guiding engineering output, supervising team activities, and ensuring high-quality specifications and development results. This role involves integrating technical expertise with organizational leadership to meet business goals, improve product development, and maintain global quality standards. Key responsibilities include: reviewing design specifications, leading problem-solving for development and production issues, supervising design teams across multiple projects, allocating resources, coaching team members, facilitating communication across departments, and representing the team with management and suppliers.Driving process improvements, promoting best practices, leading hiring and performance evaluations, and supporting goal setting aligned with business objectives. Qualifications and skills required: a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience), 8+ years in related fields (preferably Powersports or Automotive), 2+ years in supervisory roles. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, proficiency with CAD, FTA, FMEA, and product development tools, and the ability to resolve conflicts and handle confidential information. Working conditions: occasional travel, primarily desk work with some physical hazards typical of office/shop environments, and overtime based on project needs. Adherence to safety and company policies is essential.
