Mechanical Design Engineer

Role Overview: An entry-level mechanical designer supporting equipment development and integration into manufacturing facilities. Responsible for concept development, ensuring designs meet target criteria and are optimized as solutions for both business and new model projects. Key Responsibilities Design automated production equipment for assembly, build, installation, and system maturation.Collaborate within engineering teams to create or modify equipment designs based on requirements.Provide on-site support for installation, system setup, and control system maturation.Develop and maintain schedules to meet project milestones for small to medium projects.Participate in design reviews to ensure standards and specifications are met.Continuously learn new skills, processes, and technologies in manufacturing engineering. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related experience.0-2 years of experience; co-op experience preferred.Knowledge of 3D CAE software and automated equipment development.Strong technical communication skills (written and oral). Work Conditions: Mostly office-based with documentation tasks; occasional manufacturing floor support and travel to facilities or vendors as needed.
