About The Role
As a Mechanical Designer/CAD Engineer at Treeswift, you’ll work at the intersection of AI and field deployment, creating CAD models in OnShape for our in-house manufactured hardware. You’ll collaborate with the Head of Hardware and Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to prototype, develop, and produce our products, ensuring they perform in the field.
- Build and manage CAD files in OnShape
- Bring innovative ideas and rapid execution to product development
- Own and improve CAD hygiene and model updates
- Raise the bar for engineering collaboration and smooth production processes
What You'll Do

Experience / Skills
- A proven track record of taking physical products to market
- Hands-on experience with physical prototypes, including traditional hand prototyping
- Proficient in Solid and Surface modeling
- Built and maintained medium to large scale CAD models and Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical teams
- A degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience and proficiency in OnShape
- Familiarity with production methods and material science
- Prior experience at an early-stage startup
- Naturally curious and able to solve design and engineering challenges
