Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design automotive body structures and components that meet customer expectations while balancing performance, styling, manufacturability, and cost considerations.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA.
• Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers.
• Lead part development activities.
• Support verification processes.
• Research new technologies for future vehicle applications.
• Manage part cost, weight, and investment throughout development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in CATIA or similar CAD software.
• Strong organization skills.
• Self‑motivation and ability to multitask.
• Effective communication skills.

Working conditions

• Primarily office‑based with occasional interaction in test labs, fabrication, and manufacturing environments.
• Flexibility for overtime as needed.
