Mechanical Design Engineer

This is a Senior-level role responsible for leading complex design projects, mentoring junior designers, and driving design improvements. Independently produces and reviews advanced CAD models, drawings, and assemblies while ensuring designs meet functionality, manufacturability, and cost objectives. RequirementsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in mechanical design, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)5 – 8+ years of relevant CAD/design experience with complex projects Skills and CompetenciesAdvanced Proficiency in CAD software, 3D Modeling, assemblies, detailed drawings (SolidWorks Preferred)Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes preferredStrong knowledge of engineering standards and manufacturing methodsAbility to troubleshoot and resolve design challengesAbility to lead projects and mentor team membersAttention to detailAbility to follow instructions Physical Demands and Work Environment:Regularly required to stand, use hands, and lift up to 50 pounds.Exposure to moderate noise and potentially hazardous equipment, with required use of protective gear.
