About the role

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for various projects. This includes creating detailed schematics, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring all designs meet safety and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed mechanical schematics and blueprints
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and clients
• Ensure all designs comply with safety and performance standards
• Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to improve designs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in mechanical design
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Qualifications

• Experience with product development lifecycle
• Knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes

Pay

• $80,000 - $100,000 annually

• Full-time position
