Mechanical Design Engineer

Role Overview: This entry-level mechanical designer supports equipment development and integration into manufacturing facilities. They work through concept to final design, ensuring solutions meet target criteria and are optimized. Key Responsibilities Design automated production equipment for assembly, installation, and system maturation.Collaborate within engineering teams to modify and improve equipment designs.Provide on-site support during installation, system setup, and control system tuning.Create and manage project schedules for design deliverables to meet milestones.Participate in design reviews to ensure standards and specifications are met.Continuously learn new skills, processes, and technologies relevant to manufacturing. Qualifications & Skills 4-year Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.0-2 years of experience; co-op experience preferred.Knowledge of 3D CAE software and automated equipment development.Strong written and oral technical communication skills. Working Conditions: Primarily office-based with some manufacturing floor support. Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and internationally as needed.
