Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Create mechanical layouts, detailed drawings, and production documentation.
• Support the design and development of automation equipment using CAD software.
• Ensure designs meet customer requirements, project specifications, and company standards.
• Update design packages to reflect final "as-shipped" configurations.
• Absorb and prepare digital documentation and service manuals.
• Complete required ISO and quality documentation.
• Support equipment installation activities as needed.
• Meet project timelines and budget expectations.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and other cross-functional teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.

Qualifications

• Ace in Engineering or related technical field, preferably with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• 0–2+ years of engineering, design, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and design documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
