Mechanical Contract Engineer

As a Mechanical Contract Engineer, you will support the Application Engineering team by providing guidance and executing special requests.

Responsibilities

• Support Application Engineers and sales teams by providing guidance and executing special requests
• Create non-standard sketches and drawings and prepare design documents
• Provide technical direction to other departments on specific work assignments
• Develop technical documents to support teams within the business
• Assist Airside Technical Service with field application issues as necessary
• Support the factory with issues that may arise from completed special request work
• Review and analyze engineering rules and documents as necessary
• Follow codes and procedures related to job
• Adhere to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards

Requirements

• BS degree in Engineering (ABET accredited) or related science
• Experience and knowledge of HVAC fundamentals is beneficial
• Willingness to work in the office daily, located in York, PA
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint), as well as Internet software
• Possess strong verbal and written technical communication skills
• A strong ability to multi-task is necessary

Pay

SALARY RANGE: $67,000 - $101,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

Schedule

Occasional travel for training, to support other JCI facilities, to visit job sites, or to support the field, is required, up to 10%
