Responsibilities
- Assemble automotive parts and components to specifications
- Operate a press to install and plug axles and related components
- Use a saw to cut axles and materials to specified lengths
- Operate a manual lathe for basic machining operations
- Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and accuracy
- Inspect completed parts for quality and proper assembly
- Record materials used and maintain accurate inventory
- Keep tools, parts, inventory locations, and work areas organized
- Follow established safety and quality procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on work
- Willingness to learn shop equipment and machinery
- Ability to follow instructions, measurements, and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable, team-oriented, and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
