Mechanical Assembler - SIGN ON BONUS
About the role
We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our Brea team. This role involves performing duties associated with all manufacturing operations, including assembly, teardown, troubleshooting, fixturing, and repair of industrial equipment.
Responsibilities
- Work in a project-based (custom made) manufacturing environment.
- Perform assembly, disassembly, and refurbishment of hydraulic equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues and identify solutions.
- Communicate with supervisors, engineers, project managers, and other personnel daily.
- Maintain adherence to strict quality and safety standards.
- Be able to multi-task and shift priorities as conditions warrant.
Requirements
- 3-5 years mechanical experience with hydraulic equipment (valves, cylinders, pumps, actuators, etc.).
- Metal fabrication experience including drilling, tapping, grinding, and cutting.
- Experience in a “made to order” manufacturing environment.
- Able to follow procedures and engineering drawings.
- Thorough understanding of mechanical systems.
- Experience with piping and tubing assemblies preferred.
- Forklift and overhead crane operation desired.
Qualifications

Pay
The salary range for this position is $27.40 - $34.00/hr. This reflects a position based in California and is subject to evaluation based on qualifications and relevant experience.
