About the role
This position will involve working in the following areas:
- New Product Development
- New Tooling Development
- Development of new Manufacturing Capabilities
- Technical Support for Production
- Safety Support
Responsibilities
- Exemplify company values: customer focus, integrity, excellence, hard work and discipline, teamwork, honor, safety, and continuous improvement
- Construct prototypes for beta testing, customer demonstration, and validation of the design’s manufacturability
- Perform engineering calculations to support design work
- Create tooling and fixtures for production
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering team members to develop innovative solutions
- Work with production departments when technical support is required
- Develop and implement new manufacturing capabilities

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or in a related field (preferred)
- 2-5 years of experience working in manufacturing or in a related field (preferred)
- Firm understanding of engineering concepts (preferred)
- Experience developing and implementing fixtures/tooling (preferred)
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems and products (preferred)
- Experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD (preferred)
- Experience in the HVAC industry (preferred)
