Pay starts at $28.43 / Hour then jumps to $31.16 once qualified as a Press Mechanic
Plus $0.80 per hour shift differential for Night Shift

Shift Hours are 6PM – 6AM, 4 days on and 4 days off

Job Requirements

• Passing score on Battery X - Mechanic test
• Willingness to learn and assist with the setup, startup, and operation of manufacturing equipment
• Able to follow instructions and complete tasks in a professional and responsible manner
• Basic understanding or interest in mechanical tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow safety protocols
• Able to operate or learn to operate a forklift or other lifting equipment

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to kneel, stoop, crawl, squat, and stand for extended periods while learning maintenance procedures
• Adequate hand-eye coordination to assist in machine adjustments under supervision
• Basic physical strength to handle tools and equipment as required

The hiring bonus is paid out in two installments of $500--the first after passing the 80-day probationary period and the second after completion of 6 months. This bonus is $1000 pre-tax. If an employee fails to meet the mechanic requirements within 6 months of their start date, they will join the general labor pool and pay will be adjusted accordingly.
